Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation

Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation is a multidisciplinary field that prepares students for employment in the advanced automated manufacturing industry. Mechatronics is one of the world’s largest high-tech manufacturing fields that incorporates electrical, mechanical, and electronics. Mechatronics will teach you about electronics, motors, automation, robotics, programmable logic controllers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting which will make the program graduates competitive for many high wage, high demand jobs. The program is taught on the Ayers and East Broad campuses.

Dual Enrollment 

Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation is a scholarship-eligible program for Gadsden State’s Dual Enrollment Program. The program is available to eligible high school students. Through Dual Enrollment, students earn both college and high school credits. Eligible students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA. They must be a high school sophomore, junior or senior, and they must have approval from a high school counselor or administrator. Limited scholarships and grants are available!
